Peter Oberrauch. His culinary journey.

Passion for the fascinating world of cooking has accompanied Peter Oberrauch since childhood. After attending the professional hotel school Savoy in Merano, he spent five intense training years at the Hotel Erika - 5 stars in Tirolo - before moving to Munich, where he began his career as Chef de Partie at the luxury hotel Königshof.

Subsequently, he took on different challenges as Executive Chef in South Tyrol and abroad, including at the Hotel Tirolensis - 4-star hotel in Tesimo -, in the Jägerhäusl restaurant in Bad Gastein, at Hotel Hirzer - 4-star Superior in Avelengo - and in the Ladinia Hotels in Badia.

In 2011, he took charge of the internationally renowned 5-star Superior gourmet kitchen at the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol. Here, he delighted the stars of the international culinary scene with his sublime creations. The Gault & Millau guide was quick to recognize his extraordinary talent, rewarding him with 2 toques and 16 points in 2014.

In the same year, Peter Oberrauch chose to return home, settling down at the Hotel Paradies in Laces in Val Venosta. In the restaurant ``Paradiso``, owned by the hotel, he wins 2 toques and 16 Gault Millau points again, both in 2015 and 2016.

From 2017, he manages the two luxury structures of the SIGNA Luxury Collection (SLC): Chalet N in Lech and Villa Eden Luxury Resort on the Gardone Riviera on Lake Garda. In addition to occupying the role of general manager, he places his unmistakable signature on the culinary concept of the restaurant ``La Terrazza Segreta``, the gourmet oasis of the Garda resort.
